LG G4 is Official : Curved Screen, Snapdragon 808 SoC, Quad HD display & Much more

Recently LG unveiled its next generation smartphone, the G4. LG G4 android flagship smartphone is a straight competition to the recently launched Samsung Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6.

In 2013, the LG G2 surprised us all: a good screen, a wonderful range and an extremely ergonomic design. Undoubtedly, the phone became one of the best smartphones that year. In fact I doubt that anyone would question that judgment today.

In 2014, the LG G3 also surprised us all, but in the wrong direction. It was a complete smartphone, yes, but in the vast majority of points it is found slightly behind its main rivals (screen, features, performance, etc.). Something that joined the hype previously generated as a result of the good work done with the LG G2, resulted in a big disappointment.

At this point, the challenge with LG G4 was, at least, large caliber. Have they managed to meet expectations? It is still early to pass our judgement. Let’s have a look to the features and specs of the LG G4;

As for technical specifications, it has a 5.5-inch screen, Quantum IPS Display with resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (538 light points per inch).  It is now protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 4. LG has made ??several improvements to increase the color correction and improve efficiency, ultimately one of the weaknesses of the G3.

LG G4 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 hexa-core chipset with the Adreno 418 GPU.  Also LG G4 device packs with the LPDDR3 3GB RAM as the G3 unlike the other android flagship devices such as the Samsung Galaxy S6/S6 Edge and the HTC One M9 comes with LPDDR4 RAM.

LG G4 Camera

The main rear camera is 16 megapixels and front camera is 8 MP with support for 4K video capture, just like the rear camera.

LG G4 have a removable 3,000mAh capacity battery, wireless charging support, and the latest LG UX 4.0 custom Android skin running on top of Android 5.1 Lollipop.  The device comes with the 32GB of eMMC 5.0 onboard storage, with a microSD card slot provided for further expansion.

hands on lg g4

The new LG G4 will be available from April 29 in South Korea, but for now there is no words on the release date or Price of LG G4 in India.
